Michael Kane – Southwest U.S. Client Service Representative

H.S. Eckels and Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Kane as our southwest U.S. Client Service Representative.

Michael Kane is the quintessential funeral industry professional, having worn many hats over his almost three decades in the industry. A licensed funeral director/embalmer from Wisconsin for more than 25 years, Kane has seen the ins and outs of the funeral industry as both a practitioner and a funeral home owner. He began working at Lyndahl Funeral Home in Green Bay in 1992, and by 1996, he was general manager for the family-owned funeral home.

He purchased the funeral home in 2000, and later purchased a second location to serve the Asian Hmong. Kane sold the funeral homes in 2012 and founded an app development company, which created Expression Guest Registry™ as a solution to some of the changes he saw in the business. While exhibiting at its first NFDA convention, Expression Guest Registry was noticed by Messenger Stationery and a relationship was formed that resulted in the purchase of the app. Kane, a longtime Messenger customer, now represents Messenger in the southwest.
